The following is a list of our local, organic and natural suppliers.  If you live in the Saint John, NB area and would like to add a supplier to the list, please comment below and we will add your item to the list.

Please note that we are just starting to “go local”, so our list is modest for now.  We will continue to add to this list as we find and try new suppliers.

If you are looking to “go local”, congrats, welcome and thank you.  For produce specifically, you may want to check out ACORN (Atlantic Canada Organic Regional Network).  It has descriptions of many local farmers along with their contact information.

At the Saint John City Market, we typically visit the following vendors.
Baleman’s Quality Produce – local farmers, but produce is not all local
Pete’s Frootique – excellent fruit baskets, but not all local
Lord’s Lobsters – local seafood
Deans Meats – local chicken and beef
Billy’s Seafood Company – world’s best locally supplied and smoked salmon
Taco Pica – yummy Latin American grub – cooperatively owned
Joni Better Change Granola and Healthy Bites – local and organic cereals – Saturdays only
A Touch of Spice – great samosas – Saturdays only
Turkan’s – world’s best hummus – Saturdays only

Dave’s Produce Packs provides the majority of our local produce.
